Yalda Satar is an experienced Civil Rights and Employment Attorney. She has led countless high-profile, high-impact investigations and lawsuits condemning federal and state infringements of individual liberties related to workplace disputes, police misconduct, excessive force, and First Amendment rights. She has dedicated herself relentlessly to policy reform, advocating for pretrial detainees and inmates’ religious freedoms.

Through her advocacy work, Yalda has lectured at various law schools and spoken on several panels about criminal justice reform, employees’ rights, Fourth Amendment issues, and the First Amendment. She is a former Women’s Policy Institute (WPI) fellow and has a published op-ed piece in the Center for Constitutional Rights publication focusing on women’s rights in the criminal justice system.

In her current work, Yalda continues to advocate for workers’ rights and against discrimination/harassment and retaliation in the workplace – seeing these matters through all stages of litigation in both state and federal court.  More recently, Yalda was second chair in a multi Plaintiff sexual harassment trial which settled after two weeks of trial for almost $5,000,0000.00.

Yalda Satar comes to the Diefer Law Group with several years of experience in employment law representing employees in matters related to workplace sexual harassment, disability, pregnancy, and race discrimination, unpaid wages, wrongful termination, and more.
